I thought I'd try a new loook

I never have colored my hair before, but tonight while getting a haircut, I decided I wanted something different. Whaddya think?

Shove the earbuds deep in your ears

... and jam out to some tunes. That seems to be the motto of some of the music podcasters.



So, I had a little fun while playing with my new Alien Bees. It was interesting jamming to some music right in the ears while shooting at the same time. I felt a little isolated with the noise canceling earbuds. It was kinda cool being "disconnected" while shooting.

GQ I'm not!

Ok.. so the model (me) isn't quite ready for GQ magazine yet. But I was playing around with light setups today and he was the only one available that was willing to work for TFP.



Overall, the light isn't bad. I have lots of ideas for more stuff to try now. Critque anyone (yes, hair was cropped out because I'm sure it was a mess... and it's hard to work both sides of the lens.)

I have been wanting to work with gobos for a while now. I cut a quick one tonight for some podcast stock photo ideas I had. So, this was what I came up with. I'm sure I'll be using this effect much more.
