New EdHidden Photocast Podcast Album Art?

Edhidden PhotoCast Podcast Album Art

I was playing with some lighting tonight and decided to try some new album art for the EdHidden.com Photocast Podcast. There is a new show coming this weekend and I hope to have the new art ready and in place by then.

I'm also looking at switching from the Enhanced Podcast format to a straight MP3 format and just put graphics end of the show on the web. Production of the Enhanced podcast is a bit much for everything I'm currently involved in and want to speed up production of the shows so I can get more out and share more with you guys (and maybe even expand the audience a little more). So tell a friend, won't you?

Comments are always welcome.

What's the difference between an "enhanced podcast" and a regular one, again?

Personally I'm all for the MP3 style podcast but then again I'm using an Ipod mini. In fact I stopped listening to photoshopTV full time because when they went video with the audio version available it was just the audio stripped off the show and it doesn't really work without the video. In your podcast I basically have to watch it at home anyway if I want to see the photos so I would rather see them large and incharge on the site. Plus think of all the shuffles out there since the price drop.

Kick,

An enhanced podcast is one that has "moving album art" timed to the audio segment. It's almost a "video style" podcast but more like a slide show. It is playable on any color iPod or in Apple's iTunes. I'm thinking that might be holding back my audience as GenXTek suggested.

Thanks for the input guys... I am pretty sure that MP3 is the way to go.

I forgot to mention... I love these 2 pics!

On a side note, thanks for pointing me to slideshowpro in the studiolighting podcast. I saw it awhile back but couldn't remember the name and I haven't had time to track it down. I think I'm going to implement it on my site (maybe finally start posting some pics) along with that sspadmin tool

OK ... I'm still having trouble getting it play on my gramophone. Will you be issuing a wax cylinder edition of your podcast?

I'm sorry, but we won't be supporting the wax cylinder edition. I will have a roll paper PDF that you can print out, punch out the holes (square punch only) and play on your roll paper organ though. Gee... anyone remember those fun things? Is that like "analog midi"?

It's not that hard. If you aren't web design inclinded, check out www.wordpress.com or typepad.com. They offer hosting and software all in one bundle. It's pretty simple.

For bands... I've heard that MySpace is the ticket though. (and then there is always releasing a podcast for your band too. Or just putting your music up on music.podshow.com. Check out the Laschivious Biddie (www.biddies4ever.com) for a cool band podcast and an incredibly interesting way to promote independent artists.

Thanks for the praise.

Dude! Your blog rocks! I'm thinking of doing one for my rockband, is it hard?
