I was shooting some exercise shots the other evening and this was one of the ones that semi-turned out.

Model Preparation

I had commented the other week on how to plan a photo session before getting to the actual shoot. While that's good information for planning your scene, working with people is a whole other area. What do you tell your model to prepare for their shoot with you.

Joe Edelman has a great article on his site on prepping your models for their session. This is great info for first time or novice models.

Co-Worker Portraits

These are recent photos of two ladies I work with. The lighting was very tricky in both of these situations. One was a dark bar in a bowling alley and the other was the wonderful office flourescent.

Either way, I think they turned out nice.

Internet Site Of The Week - Lise Gagne

One of my favorite photographers is Lise Gagne. She has an amazing eye for great images that sell. Many of her model shots started out as self-portraits and then added a few friends. She seems equally at home in front and behind the camera.

One thing is for certain. She has a great eye and her site is a lot of fun to watch.

What are these used for?
I'm a stock photographer on istockphoto.com. If purchased, they could be used for a variety of design projects; websites, advertising, packaging, personal projects, CD or DVD packaging, film and video presentations, multimedia presentations, commercials, books, greeting cards, posters, postcards, business cards, articles, etc.*

What's in it for me?
I can provide a CD of images for your own personal use (see usage note) and/or a few prints from out session. For aspiring models, it's also another opportunity to be in front of the camera perfecting your craft.

What do I need to bring?
Attire and such will be discussed when a session is planned. Please have taken the time to read my model release. I will be happy answer any questions you may have regarding this release.

Images provided to models can be printed for their own personal portfolios or to share with family and friends as any personal photos. These images can not be resold without the photographers knowledge or written consent. Images can not be displayed any larger then 640x480 pixels in online portofolios.
